DVORAK TYPING

Its been almost a month since I’ve started really working on my dvorak typing. Having pearl has really helped me get better practice. Just signed up for an account at www.learn2type.com. Took the test and currently at 36 wpm.. working to improve on it.. the best grades that I got on a qwerty ranged from 65 to 70. I wanna see if its true that you can improve your speed with a dvorak keyboard layout

 

one helluva summer

Something tells me I took on more than I can handle… but I can do this. I just have to keep focused and know which things to prioritize… I just got to get the hang of this busy life soon… before I go nuts! Nothing much to say right no although so much has happened. Been working my “popo” off since the start of summer… Senior Camp was definitely the best break I had… though I wish I could take yet another vacation before the summer ends… *sigh*

 

Horse Voice

Teaching is a hard job.. especially if you have to speak the whole day! I’ve been tasked to teach computer basics and basic programming for Systema this week and its been pretty hard… And I thought the hard part was going to be studying for this. And now I realize that maintaining my voice is a lot harder.. and I usually am tired at the end of the day from the work… I was supposed to take a break from all of this starting this week but all of a sudden they were looking for a teacher for three non-cs students and I guess I was all they could get at such short notice. Its tiring, I swear I don’t have my voice anymore.. I lost it yesterday, I think I know now why they call it having a “hoarse voice”… but I think originally it was spelled horse… i can’t wait till Friday afternoon.. argh! I wish this would all be over now..

 

Oh Whatta Summer!

So many things to do… I have GOT to start learning how to say no… oh well, I’ll just try my best to get through this and pray that the load gets lighter.. tired, sleepy and my throat hurts… ;(
